Dover is a city located in Strafford County in southeastern New Hampshire, near the border with Maine. It's located along the Cocheco River and has access to the Atlantic Ocean. Dover is one of the oldest settlements in the state and offers a mix of history, culture, and modern amenities. The population was 32,741 at the 2020 census.
